LAYC authors of the Beyond Borders series were recently interviewed by WAMU/DCist about their experience writing children's books centering immigrant stories -- and their story aired on national radio! It was great to hear from SMP supporters around the country who heard us on NPR during "All Things Considered." We are proud of authors Andy and Joy, illustrator Yurieli, and SMP Programs Director Alexa for being powerful ambassadors of our mission.
