Exciting New Additions to Shout Mouse Press’s Spanish Titles

This fall, Shout Mouse Press is delighted to bring two of its most celebrated and impactful children’s books to a Spanish-speaking audience: Deena Misses Her Mom (by Jonae, Jesse, Layonnie & Kahliya) illustrated by Leslie Jindalay Pyo and Man Up! (by Riley, London & Shirelle) illustrated by Joy Ingram.

These books have been praised for spotlighting important social and emotional themes and making them accessible for young readers. Deena Misses Her Mom shares the stress of having a loved one who is incarcerated and Man Up! centers the ways that toxic masculinity harms young boys. Both titles were written by teen writing tutors working with Reach Incorporated in DC.

Deena extraña a su mamá and ¡Pórtate como un hombre! will be arriving on October 15th, and can be ordered directly through Shout Mouse or wherever books are sold.

por London, Riley, and Shirelle of Reach Incorporated
