Rashin Kheiriyeh is an internationally acclaimed, multi–award–winning illustrator, author, art director, and painter. She has published more than 100 children’s books in over 15 countries and has been nominated twice for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for her outstanding contributions to children’s literature. Her illustrations have been featured in the The New Yorker and The New York Times. Born in Iran, she now lives in Washington, D.C.
