Sarah

Growing up in a predominantly African-American community in Washington, DC, Sarah understands the importance of having the support of a village. She was raised by an extended family of neighbors, teachers, and friends of the family. Now, as a college student and the mother of three children—Katherine, James, and Christina—Sarah continues to depend upon her village. She currently attends the University of Maryland Global Campus where she is completing her degree in cybersecurity. This is her first book. She hopes that by writing about community, it will encourage people to love and support one another.
