Layonnie was a student at Dunbar Senior High School when she authored her book. She has been a Reach Incorporated tutor since September 2016 and really enjoys working with students. Layonnie's hobbies are boxing, traveling, and going outdoors with her friends. She was a junior in high school when she wrote her first book, Deena Misses Her Mom. She hopes to send a message that even at a young age, you can get through hard times by communicating.
