Marques was a student at Ballou Senior High School when he authored his books. He is originally from Detroit. He will eat sherbet more than ice cream any day. He likes to read, draw, play games, and play chess. He wrote A to Z: The Real DC. to get kids to know about their city and hopefully to get them to go out and explore. He has had a lot of fun writing books and hopes to continue.
